Art Fair on the Boardwalk
Conneaut Lake Art Fair

Located at Conneaut Lake Park, the popular northwestern Pennsylvania historic resort and amusement park, located centrally between Erie and Pittsburgh, PA and Cleveland, Ohio.

The gardens, lawn, mature trees and glacial lake provide a splendid setting for the Art Fair. The glacial lake and elegant lakeside residences provide an ideal setting for the Art Fair. Families have enjoyed vacationing here for over a century; consider a vacation weekend for your family.

Location:
Conneaut Lake, PA, near Meadville, in Northwestern Pennsylvania

Eligibility:
Three-dimensional crafts:  ceramics, fiber, jewelry, leather, metal, paper, wood, mixed media as well as prints, paintings, photography and sculpture.

To Apply:
If you have not participated in this event before:  Please send 2 photographs of your work and one of your booth display. There is no screening fee.

Booth Fee:
$100 for a 10' x 10' booth space
$175 for a 10' x 20' booth space
($80/$150 for previous participants or for applications approved prior to June 15, 2009)

Schedule:
Set-Up:  Saturday morning from 7am to noon, August 15
Art Fair:  Friday, August 14, 6 - 8pm (invitation only private viewing for patrons to purchase and review your art)
Saturday, August 15, noon - 6pm (or later - your reference)
Sunday, August 16, noon - 4pm

General Information:

  • In order to balance the Art Fair, quotas exist for each medium. Applications will be accepted until your medium is filled.

  • The Art Fair is open to all artists and medias, however, no commercial molds or manufactured artwork will be accepted. All art must be for sale and have prices clearly marked.

  • We reserve the right to remove any work which does not reflect the application photographs.

  • The location is handicap accessible.

Services Provided:

At the Fair:
Purchase Certificates:  Minimum of 10 Purchase Certificates of $50 each will be sold prior to the fair. This guarantees at least $500 of art work will be purchased by patrons during the Art Fair. There is no limit on the number of certificates that can be redeemed at each booth in exchange for your artwork. The artists can redeem these for cash at the end of the Fair from the chairperson.

Excellence Awards:  A panel of judges will award after all booths are set up on August 15. These will be redeemed for cash at the end of the Fair. The number will be dependent upon the number of participants in the Fair. These will be valued at $100 each.

Complimentary Refreshments:  Provided to artists during set up on Saturday morning and during the Fair.

Discounts:  Local accommodations and restaurants. Campground accommodations available. Must be requested in advance.

Complimentary:  Vehicle parking, admittance to the patron reception Friday evening.

Prior to Fair:
Advance Information:  Directions, tax information, accommodations and free invitation cards for you to send to your patron list.

Arrival Information:  Information booth with arrival packet containing booth assignment and booth sign, 2 exhibitor badges, parking pass & local information.

 

 

Application
